For the second time, experts of many different fields such as aviation, the automotive industry, electronics manufacturing as well as the beverage industry (specifically beer brewing – exciting!) and of course data scientists will meet in Dortmund to discuss digitalization, the Internet of Things, and Industry 4.0 – and Old World Computing will be there, too!
“Last year we had quite some interesting talks, highlighting the state of the art in establishing data science in industrial applications. We discussed success and chances, but also problems on the way, which proofed very helpful for all participants. The familiar atmosphere helped a lot with bringing people together”, says Sebastian Land.
OWC will be there with most of our team, listening to new perspectives on data science and its applications and exchanging ideas – at the IDS, it is the humans’ turn to learn how machines can learn more effectively! And if you are not part of the industries mentioned above, do not worry: data science projects tend to be quite similar across the domains, so you will be able to apply the insights gathered at the IDS to your field.
Join us to exchange ideas with your peers in the data science community, get insights into innovative research, and use the opportunity to establish new contacts with interesting people:
